arms."
Reena Roy was born on 7 January in 1957. She was born to a Muslim
father and a Hindu mother. A few years after her birth, her parents got
divorced. That's a reason why she turned towards films. And, she was cast in
films at fifteen or sixteen years of age. ...or sixteen years of age. ..B.R.
Ishaar film, "Nayi Duniya Naye Log". She co-starred with Danny
Denzongpa in the film. But the film was canned. After that, B. R. Ishaara made
the film "Zaroorat". In which he cast Reena Roy and Danny Denzongpa.
And a newcomer Vijay Arora made his debut, too. After the film, Zaroorat, Reena
Roy gained some recognition. She appeared in a film "Jaise Ko Taisa"
in 1973.. ..and a rain sequence featuring her created a sensation. But, still
she was struggling. In the 1975 film, "Kaalicharan".. ..after this
film Reena Roy never looked back. This was a film, in which Subhash Ghai..
..appeared as director.. ..for the first time. And at the same time, Shatrughan
Sinha was cast.. ..who was making the switch from villain to leading man. After
this film, Reena Roy.. ..and Shatrughan Sinha made a famous pair. Some spoke of
them being linked up, too. Reena Roy spoke with Sunil Dutt in many films, too.
Which featured the 1975 film "Nagin" at the top of the list. Reena
Roy played.. ..a shape shifting serpent woman in the film. And she won
appreciation for her acting and dancing skills. Reena Roy's films were doing
well, one after the other. But, once again, her film with Shatrughan Sinha..
.."Vishwanath" created a sensation at the box office.
By 1983, Reena Roy was considered.. ..the topmost leading lady of the industry. And that's
when she made a decision.. ..which shook up the industry folks.. ..as well as
her fans. It was the decision to get married. She married the Pakistani
cricketer Mohsin Khan. And after the wedding, she almost gave up acting in
films. Considering the cracks in her marriage.. ..Reena Roy divorced her
husband. Then, she turned back to the film industry in 1992. This time, she was
acting as a character actress in films. But, the comeback of a leading lady..
..could only make her a character actress. After her return, Reena Roy acted in
the film,.. .."Aadmi Khilona Hai" and in J. P. Dutta's film,
"Refugee". She will have a special place in India cinema. For the
